“I trust that everything happens for a reason, even if we are not wise enough to see it. When there is no struggle, there is no strength.” Oprah Winfrey
The well-known Greek Philosopher Aristotle believed that everything happens for a reason, always. And every experience in your life was designed to shape you and reform you into the ultimate and greatest version you could ever imagine yourself to be. The only thing that prevents this is having the wisdom to see it.
1. In Times of Struggle
Every negative experience, every time of struggle, can then be viewed as an opportunity for tremendous growth. Like a caterpillar burrowing from its chrysalis. When all of its forming and changing is complete, its metamorphism has transformed it into a magnificent butterfly. It has shed its former skin and flown on the wings of new life and a new way of being.
2. In Times of Healing

Some may find it hard to believe that everything happens for a reason, especially when experiencing grief or loss. At the time, it may be very difficult to see the blessing in it, as pain is all that is being felt. But through our lowest points in life, we gain wisdom and allow for newfound strength to emerge.
3. In Times of Happiness
By far, the most victorious of all happenstances, when it all comes together in one moment, the AHA moment, as the metaphorical photo finally develops. When we reach the point, after all the struggles, the self-substantiating realization beams through, and we finally see the wisdom behind our subconscious choices. Clarity shines like the morning sun peeking out on the earth’s horizon. Indeed, everything happens for a reason.
4. In Times of Chaos
True chaos cannot be chaos for as long as a choice is involved. Things may appear random, but as we all know, appearances lie.
“To someone who can’t read, letters on a page appear to be randomly chosen when in reality they are precisely ordered.”- Deepak Chopra.
Meaningful coincidences and synchronicities may also be viewed as random events with no connection, yet to the eye of the beholder, those events would have a real purpose and meaning.
5. In Times of Reflection
We see the puzzle pieces begin to come together, each unfolding a beautiful picture. The pain, the turmoil, the struggles and the victories are an essential building block to moulding who we are today in this present moment.
An unfinished product, continually growing, learning, and experiencing. And by reflection, we see why it had to happen the way it did.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You must trust your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”- Steve Jobs
Everything happens for a reason. We may not understand it at the time, but there is always a purpose to our experiences. Even when we’re going through tough times, we can trust that everything “will work out in the end; if it doesn’t, it’s not the end.” –John Lennon

Life is full of surprises. You never know what’s going to happen next. Even when things seem bad, there’s usually a silver lining waiting for you.
Take my life for example. I was born into a family that wasn’t perfect, but we loved each other, and we were happy. Then my mom died and it felt like the world had ended. But over time, I realized that his death was part of a bigger plan. It made me stronger, and it led me down the path I’m on now, which is exactly where I’m supposed to be.
I don’t always understand why things happen, but I trust that everything happens for a reason – even if we’re not wise enough to see it at the time. Life is full of mystery and magic, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Destiny:
Destiny is a funny thing. We all have it, whether we believe in it or not. And sometimes, even if we try to fight against it, our destiny finds us anyway.
Take Jane, for example. She always thought that she was immune to destiny, that she could choose her own path in life and forge her own future. But when she met John, she knew that wasn’t true. Something about him was an invisible force that drew her to him like a moth to a flame. They started dating, and everything was perfect… until John revealed his true identity.
He was a vampire.
Jane didn’t know what to do; part of her wanted to run away screaming, while the other part was inexplicably drawn to him still. Ultimately, she decided to stay with John and learn more about this new world he introduced her to. It turns out that being with John isn’t so bad after all; he’s protective and caring, and he makes her feel safe and loved.
But Jane knows their relationship is forbidden by nature; vampires are meant to be alone while humans are meant to live long, happy lives. Torn between two worlds, Jane must decide where her destiny lies: with the man she loves or the life she’s always known.
